Description

Aligoté 2025 is our fifth vintage from a vineyard planted between 1970 and 1973 near the town of Lyaskovets, Veliko Tarnovo region in the Central part of Northern Bulgaria. The altitude is around 230 m, the terrain is hilly, the exposure is west-northwest, and the soils are brown forest.

2025 was very hot and dry, with rainfall below normal for the area, but in August the vineyard had minimal rainfall before the grape harvest, which helped for better ripening. However, the grape harvest of the Aligote variety was again significantly earlier compared to the years before 2022. The vineyard produced very good grapes, which allowed us to make this wonderful wine.

Aligote 2025 is a wine with extremely fine balance, great length and excellent harmony. The color is sparkling with a fine greenish hue. The aromas are floral and complex, with great promise for development. It has a good minerality.

The wine has the potential to become one of our best vintages of this variety.

It can be served as an aperitif or is a great companion for fresh salads, seafood and fish dishes, and roasted white meats.
