Our white Chardonnay Acacia’s Kiss /”kissed by acacia”/ from the 2025 harvest is the third Chardonnay harvest from a vineyard near the village of Momkovo, South-East Bulgaria. In the context of the concept of terroir, this is one of the most interesting plots we have worked with. The vines are 27 years old, planted on white humus with high alkalinity. This has a strong impact on the wine, creating an impressive combination of salinity, southern fruitiness and warmth.

The wine is aged in contact with French pink acacia with weekly batonage (lifting of the lees) for 5 months. The contact with the wood emphasizes the aromatic profile of the Chardonnay variety by enhancing the feeling of minerality.

Acacia’s Kiss Chardonnay has an impressively complex nose with subtle notes of boxwood and pear, accompanied by a long finish and rich taste.
