Description

Mavrud Claret vintage 2020 is a wine we created to show the typical fruity aroma and taste of this traditional Bulgarian variety without it having undergone transformations during aging in contact with oak. The color is sparkling and transparent, and the rough tannins specific to Mavrud have been refined to a deep rosé structure. The grapes are from the foothills of the Rhodopi mountains near the village of Zlatovrah, from old vines of 45 years and are from the Mavrud clone, characterized by larger grains, a stronger aromatic profile and a lower tannin reserve. / Harvest date: 12 October 2020 / Bottling date: 06.05.2021 / Alcohol: 13.5 vol.% / Total acidity: 6.6 g/l / Batch of 500 bottles
